Today’s column is all about Keith Hanson, dedication, and a desktop client for Plurk. That’s not to mention a lot of work, a lot of knowledge, and some help from his friends. Keith did a Plurkiverse guest post a while back, when he was first starting this project. Back then he was doing the detective work required to learn how Plurk performed its magic. Now he has not only figured all that out, but he is releasing Plurker, the desktop Plurk client.

Keith will be the first to tell you that he had some help. Jacob Morse handled the design of the Plurker Graphical User Interface (GUI). It is very apparent what a great job he did. Kudos to Jacob for doing such a great job and for Keith for talking him into doing it. :) Keith’s brother Ken was also involved in the project, lending a hand with styling and coding.

Any of you that know Keith know that he would not release a product until it was ready for prime time. Even better, Keith is dedicated to making sure that your Plurker experience is the best it can be. He is ready to answer questions and provide any support necessary. And he still wants to improve the client! If you have any idea and requests for him, let him know on Plurk.

I’m KDFrawg on Plurk, and I’m way proud of Keith Hanson!
